I personally think that itsw unfair and cruel to make children decide that kind of stuff.

So today i learned about Meritocracy. For those of you who does not know a meritocracy is a form of goverment were jobs, goverment positions, responsabilities ect... are appointed by the ability of the individual rather than by wealth (plutocracy), family connections (nepotism), class privilege (oligarchy), cronyism, tenurocracy (or based in seniority), popularity (as in democracy) or other historical determinants of social position and political power.
This form of goverment brought my attention.
Now that i look at democracy, it certainly doent look as good as meritocracy. Perhaps my understanding of how democracy truly works is limited seeing that the only indepth dempcracy i have seen was at my middle school student goverment, so based on this i shall make my arguments.
The president, lets called her P, of the elections won beacuse she was the "pretiest, most popular" girl in school. She promised several things which COULD be achieve but were never made beacuse this girl had the brain of a bubblegum.
One candidate was another girl, lets called her L, was one of the smartes students of that year. L was organized, smart, and hard working. But she was also shy and almost never went to parties or dances or any of the sort. So she lost. P won and brought one of the lamest years my school had seen, even teachers admitted that to me at the end of the year.
If my school goverment had been bu abilities and not by popularity then perhaps the year would have been better.
I dont know much about the world leaders and their abilities to do their job, however after reading several pages what seems to be the repeating pattern is that the politicians get their job based on the popularity of their promises and in the end they do the minimal amount of them.
So i think (this is my personal opinion (Opinions are not facts (therefoe i cannot be right or wrong :P))) that meritocracy is a much better gobermental system.
For more examples read Starship Troopers, by Robert A. Heinlein.

Ok here is some food for thought, people say two wrongs dont make a right, but isnt that how the legal system works?
Seriously, think about it, when someone kills another person, at the very least the killer is sent to jail. So lets analyze that:
1st wrong: Killing (killer)
2nd wrong: putting someone in a cage for the rest of their lives (law system)
Seriousl if we look at this from an objective and unbaised way basically we are saying 2 wrongs make 1 right.
So what do you think about that?

so there she was, as beautiful as always. her long black hair fell to her hips, and her eyes shone unaturally bright, reflecting the full moon in front of her.
"Would you like to hear what i wrote?" she said, her soft voice putting me in an almost hypnotic trance.
"Of course, I'd love that" I said almost automatically.
"She sat down in hte stool. Her red dress falling in place, as though every movment was planned, as if wanting to go along with harmony. She stretched her fingers, and then with a swift movment, almost invisible to my eyes, the room was filled with the most beautiful melody i had ever heard.
"I hope you like, this, considerng i wrote it for you." She said. Uninterrupting her playing.
I couldn't talk, the music filled me, it was astonishing. That sensation of drowsyness started to fill me again, as if i has being hypnotized. Tears started to flow down my cheeks. It was the most magical and wonderful thing i had ever heard and the sole thought of her stopping was enough to make me cry.
" I love you" were the words that i last pronounced that day. Seconds later, my eyes close, never to open again, while the melody continued, never stopping.
Ok now i feel sad. I wrote this while hearing "River Flows in you" which can be found in my playlist below.

¿Acaso puedes tu
Atrapar las Pleiades,
O aflojar el cinturon de Orion?
¿Acaso puedes tu
domar a la Osa mayor
o cazar la osa menor?
comer la Luna menguante,
o conquistar Halley?
que detendras a Andromeda,
O ahogar el Cangrejo?
No puedes cortar las alas
De la nebula del aguila
Ni disipar la nebulosa de Dumbbell
¿Cual es tu problema,
Intentar apagar, la nebula de Orion?
Imagenes de los dioses
Obejetos de los titanes
Loco e ignorante
Que intentas alcanzarlos
Un pequeño intento de poema sobre las estrellas y objetos celestiales, que han cautivado la imaginacion de los humanos desde tiempos inmemorables.
Aqui una imagenes de esos objetos:

So today is the first morning of December. There is something in the air that tells us that the warm nights of autumn are coming to an end. My city is very HOT, in summer we reach 40C. Today's morning we found our city at 10C. I also noticed that my tree is getting bald. All the leafs are almost gone. And sure the leaves were orange and yellow, but now there are no leaves at all. I simply love the cold weather, I have a longing to have a white christmas which i have never had. The only time i saw snow was when my father took me as a ssurprise to Detroit. Anyways, thats it for now, perhaps i shall post something else.
